ΣΑΜ Foundation

The Sigma Alpha Mu Foundation has served as the charitable and educational arm of Sigma Alpha Mu since it was chartered in 1944. The Foundation is a dynamic example of 's ideals in action. It is the mission of the Sigma Alpha Mu Foundation to support the educational interests and activities of Sigma Alpha Mu Fraternity, to furnish student aid, and to encourage and develop conduct and traits of character consistent with high morals, constructive citizenship, scholarship, leadership and community service.

Sigma Alpha Mu Foundation funds educational programs supporting leadership, scholarship, good citizenship, personal development and professional development. Support of these programs is possible through contributions to the Foundation's Annual Appeal, designated major gift endowments, and planned gifts.

From the time of its inception, the Foundation vowed to work toward the day when no member would have to leave school for lack of funds. Each year we get closer to that goal by awarding more than $100,000 to needy and worthy students; more than most fraternity foundations. Each scholarship is made possible through endowed gifts made by alumni and friends of the Fraternity.

For a more detail about Sigma Alpha Mu Foundation's scholarships and educational grants please review the Annual Report linked below. The need for scholarships and educational programs continues to grow and your support of the Foundation is needed.
